Hi, I'm Kav!
I'm a North-Yorkshire based queer photographer with an adoration for all things ‘love’ and a passion for photography; so, when I found wedding photography, everything just clicked. Growing up as a creative, I followed my passion and ventured into the world of fashion and textiles at University, winning a top prize for my final collection. I took great pleasure in photographing the final collection!
After leaving university, I worked in the fashion industry for a number of years. Post-Covid, I decided to train to be a textiles teacher and continue to share my passion for creativity and the arts.
In 2022, when a friend (having seen my work) asked if I would capture the photographs for her wedding, I jumped at the opportunity and fell in love with wedding photography. This was the turning point; more people asked and more weddings were booked!
So, what makes me a unique wedding photographer? Firstly, my fashion background gives me a unique understanding around how dresses lay, suits look and other fashion related tweaks!
My vibrant style meant I was tired of seeing dull and muted colours in photography. Instead, I capture your day as bright, bold and authentic. I aim to capture the moments in the chaos and the emotions in real time, rather than posed shots.
I hope to make you feel at ease and at home; to join in with the fun of the day and care deeply for the connection we have made.

Let's be honest, who really loves getting their picture taken? Not many people, and if that includes you then you are in the right place. Wedding's can be daunting, and the last thing you need is more stress that you are going to be put through picture after picture by the photographer. With me capturing your big day, expect someone to bring the calm, cry with you, laugh with you, hold your dress, dance with Grandma, and capture your day in real time, real moments and moments you didn't even know happened.
